it occurs to me that Boulder has become and increasingly so, another Beverly Hills, or Denver center or New York City. The City Council has allowed extreme growth in all the new apartment houses and hotels that are being built or just finished being built.
The stress this puts on our once beautiful town is horrible: water, sewage and trash are maxing out of capability; fire and police departments and ambulances cannot get through a crowded 28th, 30th or Broadway, when there is an emergency.
They are out of their collective minds! Chief Niwot once said (paraphrasing him): They will come; they will see the beauty; and that will be our destruction.
