The Boulder Neighborhood Alliance is an IRC §501(c)(4) non-profit organization.
We consist of 100% volunteers. All of us are concerned citizens living in and near the City of Boulder. The officers and directors of BNA do not receive any compensation for the work they are doing on behalf of BNA.
But there are monetary costs to running an organization like this, and your donations can help out with those costs. Initial BNA donations will be used to pay for the BNA website, a post office box, bank account, registration with the Colorado Secretary of State’s office, business cards, etc.
Subsequent donations will be used for things such as printing costs for fliers and signs, creating a BNA booth we can deploy at City events, a speakers’ bureau, a BNA conference on the benefits of slow growth, and support for City Council candidates in the 2017 election. At some point, we may establish a neighborhood legal defense fund. Bottom line—being a successful, effective organization requires money. Thanks in advance for whatever you’re able to spare.
Checks should be made payable to Boulder Neighborhood Alliance, and mailed to the following address:
Boulder Neighborhood Alliance PO Box 19681 Boulder, CO 80308
Please remember it’s Boulder Neighborhood Alliance (not Association).
While BNA is a not-for-profit organization (a 501(c)(4)) — donations to BNA are not tax deductible. BNA intends to be involved in active political lobbying and campaigns for ballot issues and candidates for elected office. This type of activity is not considered tax deductible by the IRS (similar to donations to any other political action committee, party, or candidate).
BNA thanks you for your support!
